This highly acclaimed vintage is deep in crimson color, opulent in aroma, balanced between gentle tannins and appropriate acidity on the palate, and generously rewarding in the finish. This vintage exhibits a character of cassis, fruitcake, cedar, herbs, coffee, and black fruits intermixed with smoke. This Cabernet is well extracted, has a full body, and marvelously pure fruit.
The final blend was 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Syrah and 3% Merlot.
91 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (April 2010): “So rich and luscious in its aromas as to suggest far more Merlot in its cépage than actually exists, this outgoing, full-bodied effort comes with an invitingly supple texture at entry and flavors that do not stop."
