This is a classic, elegant, medium-bodied cool climate Cabernet. It has smoky notes and leather aromas that lead to dark berry, fig and anise on the palate; a delicious companion to to grilled Portobello mushroom sandwiches, chocolate cake, steak fajitas, spinach lasagna and much more!
There are no awards or reviews for this wine. “This is really our type of Cabernet…soft, beautiful fruit & easily approachable…will go with many foods… including fish!” say Bruce & Pam. “This Cabernet will only age a couple of years…but what a tasty two years that will be!”
This is the last vintage of the 32 year old Cabernet vines from Paragon Vineyard, located in the Edna Valley.

This cab is definitely a classic, smooth and full bodied! It's too bad that this is the last cab from Paragon. It will truly be missed.

We live less than a mile away from this winery and have had this bottle sitting around for a couple of years. What a pleasant surprise when we uncorked it this week. Both my wife and I thought it was the one of the best we have had. I liked it so much I just ordered a case of it and may order a 2nd.
