Crisp, refreshing and focused. A pale straw color glistens in the glass and encourages a swirl that results in a somewhat exotic bouquet of kiwi, guava and lemon-lime jumping from the glass. On the palate, the wine is light and lively, with honeydew melon, lemon zest and a hint of fennel being complemented by the creamy, round textural components from the semillon. The finish is lasting, sleek and citrusy.
Sauvignon Blanc is Buttonwood's signature wine and they rest their reputation on this time-honored grape.

Nose/taste reminds us of a good Sauterne. Also reminds us of good German wines we've had. -15 Points
