Dark cherry fruit melds with bright raspberry, tart plum, oregano and thyme spice on the nose. As the wine opens, flavors of mountain blackberry and freshly picked blueberry emerge.

“A wine that will complement food, and is best if sipped after a bite is taken, acting as a bridge between bites. As the flavor of the wine and the food both fade, your mouth is left demanding another bite.” —Doug Noble, Food & Wine Columnist, Mountain Democrat newspaper

This Syrah can be cellared for five to seven years. Decant for an hour or so prior to serving. A mere 1,283 cases were made, so this wine is extremely limited.

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.

Certainly done in the Old World style! Very similar to some of the Italian wines I've had.        -13 Points
