A fine representation of the Bordeaux region, this red blend's dusky red fruit is embraced by the wine's solid tannin structure.
The Chateau Guionne is located in the Cotes de Bourg appellation of France's Bordeaux wine region. In 1871, Chateau Giuonne's vineyards were classified as a cru Bourgeois (a classification for the high quality wines from this region).
The final blend is 40% Malbec, 40% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc.
This wine was a recent selection of The California Wine Club's International wine of the month club.
