A beautifully supple vintage, fragrant and expressive with fruit, toast, and spice and tawny plum in color. Leading the palate are blended notes of raspberry, blackberry, dark stone fruits, cloves and the zing of fine tannins. It finished with finesse, and the full array of flavors discovered.
90 points, Wine Spectator (December 15, 2008): “Supple, fragrant and appealing for its pulsing currant, blackberry and dusky spice flavors, which focus sharply through fine tannins on the long finish. Best from 2009 through 2014.”
Gold Medal, San Diego Wine Competition (2008)
