Aged: 10 Years
Still has strong black raspberry, cherry, tobacco and pepper notes. The tannins have mellowed out somewhat, but its texture remains full and rich, and the fruit flavors linger. This wine is maintaining many of the characteristics that it originally revealed upon release, allowing it to age for even more time.
92 points, Wine & Spirits (December 2004): “Earthy and warm, this wine melds black fruit with unusually gentle tannin for Howell Mountain Cabernet. The ripeness of those tannins make it feel meaty and satisfying, with a finish touched by mint and smoke.”

Big, Bold and Beautiful! That is the best way to describe this wonderful 2002 Aged Cab from Cornerstone Winery. This 10 year old is still full of tannins, although a bit milder, which is the way my wife likes it.
