Aromas and flavors of ripe cherry, raspberry, violets and licorice speak of this wine’s distinct Toro terroir.

This wine is a blend of Tinta de Toro (Tempranillo) and Garnacha grapes harvested from vines approximately 20 to 40 years old, all in the Toro D.O. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 77° F, the wine rested for one week on the skins. It did not age in oak barrels.

“Fabulous blackberry aroma, vibrant berry fruit…great depth and concentration; velvety texture…” —Winereviewonline, “Toro: Spain’s Tiny Dynamo,” by Ed McCarthy (June 21, 2011)
