Swirl your glass and then inhale a heady dose of intense fragrances dominated by blackberries, herbs and wet stone. In the mouth, this wine is a rush of coffee and blackberry flavors, with solid tannins and a long finish.

90 points, Wine Enthusiast (February 2011): “…dry and tannic, showing the freshly-crushed Asian spices of the Santa Maria Valley. Full-bodied…offering ripe raspberry, cherry, currant and anise flavors. Give it a few years to mellow.”

PinotFile, “Good” (May 15, 2011): “…A husky, full-bodied wine with generous earth-kissed black fruits…Should benefit from more time in the bottle, but will always be a bruiser.”

Drink now or hold for 10 years.
