This Chardonnay’s complex aromatics, rich with minerality and the green apple remind us of a Chablis. Aeration brings out the tropical notes of honey, white peach and acacia flowers supported by lime leaf and quinine. The palate is dense and taut with bright acidity, medium weight viscosity and exceptional length.
90 points, Connoisseurs’ Guide (April 2012): “...weighty and well-balanced, a touch of finishing heat. Its many pieces are so comfortably fit that it has fine potential for a few years of further development.”
Just 695 cases were made. This wine will appeal to the Chardonnay purist and will easily cellar for a decade.
