This red blend of Monastrell, Garnacha tintorera and Syrah shows off an intense nose of red fruit and spice fragrances. On the palate, the texture is lush, with notes of oak and fruit compote, leading to soft tannins that invite another sip.

The final blend was 34% Garnacha tintorera, 33% Monastrell and 33% Syrah.

This is the inaugural vintage and the winemaker recommends drinking the wine now or holding up to five years. The winemaker also recommends decantering an hour or two before serving. Crystals in the wine have no influence on its flavors.

This Spanish red goes well with rice and beef, chicken, pork or pasta. Avoid spicy foods.
