Deep, enticing aromas of spice, black tea, dried violets and pomegranate liqueur lead to bold flavors of fruit compote, dark
truffles, allspice and peppercorns. This richly textured, jammy Pinot Noir ends with a generous, lingering finish.

90 points, Wine Enthusiast (September 2011): “Floods the mouth with the essence of raspberries and cherries … brisk acidity and a hint of minerality…”

90 points, International Wine Cellar (May/June 2011): “Creamy and ripe on entry, then firmer in the middle with lovely perfume…”

Very Good+ (90 points), Kenswineguide.com (June 14, 2011): "This opaque and dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a hint of oak and tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a red raspberry and plum blend with nicely integrated oak. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are friendly. Our mini-tasting group thought this Pinot would pair well with grilled salmon." – Ken

Decanter magazine (Sept. 2011): “Cool black cherry and plum flavours are framed by brisk acidity and a hint of minerality…”
