Black cherry and red plum fruit aromas waft from your glass. Rich, creamy and luscious, it offers concentrated red cherry and plum flavors, touched by tea/spice tones and tangy acidity.
The final blend was 95% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Ok, when I poured this into my glass, I ws leary, as it looked like Welch's grape juice. Yes, wine comes from grapes, but it should have a more distinctive color than pure grape juice. Thankfully the nose was GREAT. Strong scent of tea/spice with hints of cherry. Taste was very nice with cherry and plum flavor. Finish was good. The acidity really came through. -16 Points

It is a little dry for a Merlot, a little tart but it has a good flavor. -17 Points

What a mouthful of "mid-palate" expression. I've never had a better Merlot in my lifetime. Thanks CWC. -20 Points

I've paired this Merlot with a premium cigar. It went well, spice and berry everywhere! Nice oakie accents too. Candy apple in the nose, well balanced, juicey taste and woody finish. A great example of what a Merlot should be. -17 Points

The first thing you notice is the nose, this wine is robust and earthy. The taste is full and deep, smooth on the palat, full of flavor. A great buy. -18 Points

Fruit and spice appear front and center, balanced with decent tannins. Finish is lighter than most Merlot and crisp. Great with spicy ethnic foods. -16 Points
