Medium red with bright garnet tints, this Zinfandel is unmistakably Zin with its fragrances of spice, cranberries, pomegranate and cherry. Flavors of ripe red fruits mix with soft tannins and a bright acidity.
93 points James Halliday. Australian Wine Companion, 2011 Edition: “…a vibrantly fresh red berry palate that is strongly varietal; delicious early maturing wine.”
Perfect for quaffing, but best with pasta, pizza, hamburgers and red meats.
Great drinking now due to its softness and youthful flavors but will age for five to eight years.
