Deeply hued, the aromas are crammed with jammy blackberry, roasted espresso, fennel, and black currant. The sweet mid-palate overflows with ripened plum and cassis, concluding with warm, spicy oak.

93 points, Wine Enthusiast (06/09): “…brims with spice flavors of cherries, currants, chocolate and cedar… Decadently good…”

92 points, Wine Spectator (11/10): “…Fullbodied, intense and persistent, with a long, complex finish…”

91 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (12/10): “Here is a solid, deeply draughted effort that gets it right in terms of well-defined fruit and balance, and, while it sports lots of Cabernet currants and nicely proportioned oak, it has a real sense of reserve that says that it can only get better with time."
