Garnet in color with astounding clarity and medium intensity, “Pico Creek” showcases classic Merlot aromas of cherry, plum, raspberry, cigar box, black pepper, with a nice inclusion of French oak. The front end of the flavor profile brings pleasing cherry flavors transitioning to a blackberry driven mid-palate with incredible acidity and structure, which sets the stage for the finish line. A lovely finish driven by raspberry, spice, tea, forest floor, and long velvety tannin.
