This red blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot has great depth of color with aromas of plum, black cherry, French oak, a light smattering of kitchen spices and cedar/sandalwood incense. It has a broad and powerful first impression with a sweet oak and cherry cola center, wrapped in black fruit rounding out the palate.

94 points, Wine Enthusiast (9/10): “Quite a good, distinguished Cabernet. It’s rich and robust, with explosive blackberry and currant flavors...”

91 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (8/10): “Although scene-stealing sweet oak may leap to the fore here, a bit of time in the glass allows deep and defined black-currant fruit to assume center stage. Dense and supple and very fleshy in texture with a fine sense of winemaking refinement..."

(Very Good) 89 points, Ken’s Wine Guide (5/22/10): "This slightly opaque ruby colored Cab opens with an attractive black cherry and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is predominately dark chocolate and oak with some black raspberry and black cherry in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins land softly. The panel suggested serving this wine with a rib-eye steak or fresh sliced strawberries. Enjoy." –KWGTP
