On the nose is blackberry pie and brooding dark currant evolve into notes of creamy toasty oak and baking spices. The palate reveals an essence of fresh berries and vanilla with an underlying backdrop of well integrated tannins. The wine deepens into the realm of dry fig and tobacco, but balanced with a silky complex finish.
