A subtle, complex wine with aromas of plum, nutmeg and cinnamon that swirl your glass for a minute and release the flavors of plum, dark raspberry and a hint of licorice; a soft mid palate and flavors of clove that linger after the finish.
Every vineyard of the Jepson Syrah was fermented individually in small lots. The grapes were cold soaked for 24-36 hours before fermentation. In some of the lots the skins of Viognier were added during fermentation to conduct co-pigmentation contributes to the complexity of the wine. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 10 months in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak.

This wine was very nice from the first taste. Had a smoothness to it that I like. Very tasty. I recommend it. It was brought to my house by a guest at a dinner party so I didnt know the price point but thought it a much more expensive wine that what I see now on the internet.
