Dense, strong brick in color, this Diamond Mountain Cabernet has aromas of cedar, leather, game, herbs, tobacco. On the palate, it is thick and rich with chewy, pleasing tannins. The wine has lots of weight and general silkiness. Flavors of ripe plum and dark dried fruits, chocolate, vanilla cream and toasted nuts merge with a dense, yet not overwhelming, oak presence.
