Aroma: Violets, raspberries, black currants. On the Palate: Styled after the Grenache-based blends of the Southern Rhône, this medium-bodied wine has great fruit character, bright acidity and soft tannins.
The final blend was 41% Mourvèdre, 36% Grenache, 13% Syrah, 5% Counoise and 5% Cinsault.
McCrea Cellars doesn’t enter its wines in competitions.
Pair with: This wine goes well with a wide variety of foods, from Grilled Copper River Salmon to Smoked Pork Tenderloin and Beef Bourguignon.
