Deep, rich cherry and blackberry aromas are underpinned by vanilla, mocha, and pepper hints. The tannins are soft and supple, the texture silky, while the finish is long and smooth.

92 points, Wine Enthusiast: “… extraordinarily rich. Floods the palate with intensely ripe blackberries and blueberries, with cool-climate notes of black pepper…”

91 points, Robert M. Parker Jr., The Wine Advocate: “The 2007 Syrah Reserve justifies its Reserve status with more concentration, power, density, and nuance as well as a deeper, more opaque ruby/purple color…should drink well for a decade...”

A mere 150 cases were made. This Reserve pairs well with grass-fed steak, grilled sausages, Manchego cheese, butterflied lamb and pasta Bolognese.

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
