The 2000 Corley Reserve continues to show concentrated red berry, chocolate and spice tones in a rich, dense wine. No sign of age so I’d say an elegant 10+ year Napa Cabernet. Drinking great now but don’t be afraid to lay down as there is much more time to enjoy the wine.
This wine attended the Academy Awards in 2004 tucked into the celebrities’ gift bags, it has been served by Ronald Reagan to Queen Elizabeth in New York; by Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush in the White House; and by George H.W. Bush to many foreign dignitaries including Gorbachev, Major, Bandar and Salinas.
