Peach, apple and cinnamon aromas join with hints of slate and cedar on the nose of this pleasingly complex Chardonnay. Peach and spice do an encore on the palate.

97 points, Winereviewonline.com, Robert Whitley (Nov. 2011): “This is a brilliant Chardonnay, firmly structured, with intriguing complexities of lemon oil, brioche, earthy minerality and a whiff of spice.”

93 points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar (May 2011): “Apple, pear and spices on the nose, complicated by a leesy hazelnut quality that reminded me of Champagne. Concentrated, chewy and expressive, with a subtle savory quality to the dense peach and toast flavors. Finishes sexy and quite long, already conveying a lot of personality. An excellent showing.”

Food Pairings: Fresh red snapper, salads of all kinds and Brie cheese.
