Forgive us if we compare this luscious Pinot Noir to an ice cream sundae … it has layers of goodies, from flavors of candied plum and vanilla to jam and smoky oak. But unlike a sundae, you can simply pour another glass! Grilled tri tip or salmon are great companions to this memorable Pessagno Pinot Noir.
"This wine sold out quickly and we did not submit it for reviews or into competitions,” says winemaker/founder Steve Pessagno.
Located in the Santa Lucia appellation of Monterey County, Garys’ Vineyard is the collaboration of grape growers Gary Pisoni and Gary Franscioni. Planted to the famous “La Tache” clone of Pinot Noir, with origins from Burgundy, this highly regarded clone has captured national attention for its superior quality and expression of flavor.
Just 562 cases produced. Enjoy now or hold for up to 3 years.
This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
