Dark garnet in color with luscious notes of black cherry, raspberry jam, violets, quince, vanilla and clove. The mouth is rich with hints of pomegranate, sweet cherry pie, Santa Rosa plum, minerals and plush tannins. There is a touch of cola and perfectly integrated acid that keeps it all in balance.

93 points, The Tasting Panel, Anthony Dias Blue (Nov. 2011): “A melding of lovely cherry, raspberry and plum; tangy, balanced and ripe…exquisite.”

93 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (Oct. 11): “Intense, concentrated and close to brooding with slow-to-open aromas of cola, dark cherries and vanilla, this substantial young wine manages to be both ripe and well-structured at the same time..."

91 points, Wine & Spirits (Feb. 2012): “…The juicy cranberry character of this pinot gets its cool feel and brightness from the winds off the coast…”

90 points, International Wine Cellar (May/June 2011): “Tightly wound red berry flavors…with air…gain sweetness and spiciness…fine-grained tannins…”

Just 400 cases made.
