Notes of cranberry and intense Bing cherries show up on the nose and the palate of this deep and complex Sangiovese.

This Italian-style red aged for 31 months in French oak barrels. Winemaker Alessio Carli added 3.5% Cabernet Sauvignon for added structure.

Spinach pizza, spicy Italian foods, lasagna, beef stew and other hearty fare are perfect choices.

Drink now or hold 5-7 years.

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.

WOW!! A tremendous wine which surpasses the best Sangiovese from Tuscony!  My wife's absolute favorite. She states that our wine cellar MUST contain this wine at all times without question. She feels that it rivals the Antinori equivalent.
