Pinot Patch
Brothers Jesse and Aaron Inman spent years assisting their uncle, veteran Napa winemaker August “Joe” Briggs, in his wine ventures before sinking their savings into a winery of their own. With Pinot Patch Winery, they focus exclusively on Pinots, including Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Rosé.
The fabulous wines we featured:
Pinot Patch 2013 California Pinot Noir
- Pair with spaghetti with Bolognese sauce or grilled Portobello burgers.
- Wine of the Week, Wine Curmudgeon Blog
Tasting Notes: Liven up your evening with this tart, cherry-infused Pinot Noir. Notes of earth and holiday spices on the nose and palate set the tone for celebration.
Pinot Patch 2012 Sonoma County Pinot Noir Rosé
- Impressive Pedigree
- Pair with Spinach Salad with Pomegranate seeds and goat cheese.
- Several Sonoma County Vineyards supplied the fruit.
Tasting Notes: Here is what a fine Rosé is meant to be: a parade of strawberry, grapefruit pith, red apple, roses and honeysuckle. Clean, crisp and ready to wow your guests.
Winemaker's Notes
“I love that you’ll never know it all. It’s ever-changing and keeps you on your toes. That, and being in the vineyards. We get to go to some of the most beautiful places, and there’s no one there but us, the fog and morning sunlight. It’s pretty majestic." - Jesse Inman
