Wines featured in this club level are handcrafted at small California wineries and in such limited amounts they are usually only found at the winery.

Shipments can be delivered monthly, every-other-month or quarterly and include:

  • Two hand-selected wines. Choose all red, all white or a mix.
  • Wine tasting notes, pairing suggestions, and a recipe.
  • Our Love It Guarantee.
  • VIP Touring and Tasting at any of the small family wineries we feature.

From my standpoint, the CWC does an excellent job of promoting small but high-quality wineries in an effective and cost-efficient way. I enjoy reading the stories of the wineries and their owners. It gives me a connection that otherwise I would not have. When I receive a shipment of 2 new wines from CWC, the first thing I do is read about what is in the box and the people who produced it. I then put the new 2 wines at the head of the line so that they are the next ones consumed.  If I like one or both of them, I will order a half case. The lesson I have learned is that I have to decide and act quickly because it seems that generally, I have the same preferences as a lot of other CWC members; consequently, if I wait more than a couple of weeks, my choice is sold out! Occasionally one of my sold-out selections reappears, but that is rare. That is not a complaint, however. I am glad that these quality small wineries have such a successful means of promoting their products. In terms of value, I find CWC—which began for me as a gift from one of my children—hard to beat, particularly when I come across a wine that I really like that carries a price that is at least $5 less than I would pay in a retail store. The CWC’s guaranty is impressive. I never expected or intended to use it but more than a year ago I was talking to one of the CWC’s personal consultants as I sought help looking for a wine that might be similar to another CWC selection I had really enjoyed that was unfortunately sold out. In the course of the conversation I mentioned one wine order that I had received that was not defective but that I was unable to finish because I disliked it strongly. The consultant quickly picked up on my disappointment and insisted upon replacing the bottle based upon the CWC guarantee. I will not forget that, even though I imagine I will never feel the need in the future the invoke the guaranty. Finally, I enjoy the personal touch that your emails provide.  I’m sure your job is not always fun, but you make it look like it is, and that in turn provides vicarious enjoyment of the wine for the rest of us!
