Aged: 13 Years
The color has turned to a lovely ruby/garnet. The bouquet is alive with black plums, tobacco, earth, spice, licorice, and toffee. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied, and has softened considerably. The acid balance is just about perfect, and the flavors of cocoa, plum, licorice, and spice are supple and long.
