Slightly garnet in color, the aromas have developed nicely over nine years, with blueberry edging out the blackberry now, and a strong beam of cassis persisting in both the aroma and the flavor. The wine is medium to full-bodied, still well supported by its mountain fruit acidity and ample through softening tannins and shows lots of dark chocolate, earth, cedar, and spice accents on the long finish.
