Dark berry aromas and flavors, and a touch of oak, greet the lover of Cabernet Sauvignon in this Paso Robles bottling. A lush creaminess on the palate leads to an easy first place finish in your glass. The wine came from the Rainbow's End Vineyard in the Paso Robles appellation.

We looked, we smelled, we tasted. It was very nice. We swallowed - and WOW!, what a finish! We can hardly wait to open the Chardonnay from the same vineyard. -17 Points

A wonderful wine with grilled red meat. A marinated flank steak and sweet potato fries were on the menu. The wine was an exceptional compliment. The flavor held well against garlic, soy and spices of the marinade, and the sugar and pepper of the sweet potato coating. We truly enjoyed this wine. -19 points

Just a few comments about Rotta Cabernet. What a very Pleasant surprise. Had never of Rotta but it also had never heard of me! We enjoyed the bouquet immensely... from the first pour to the last. Quality of the wine reminded us of a Jordan or a Eberle or a Freemark Abbey. Congratulations to CWC or making an excellent choice and the winemaker for a great product. Salud!
