This Cab’s black cherry, vanilla, clove, cinnamon, milk chocolate and blackberry aromas are abundant. The palate is full-bodied and rich, yet elegant and supple, filling the mouth with boisterous, intense mountain fruit flavors. The ultra-refined tannins sustain a long, fruit-filled finish.

91 points, Wine Spectator (February 2009): “Minty bay leaf, herb and chocolate currant flavors are intense, full-bodied and deeply concentrated, tightly focused and framed by dry, minerally tannins...”

90 points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar (May/June 2009): “…Big, broad and rich, with ripe but classically dry flavors of cassis, plum and chocolate…”

Enjoy with pork tenderloin and caramelized pears.  This Cab is drinking the way it was intended and can be easily cellared up to 2016.

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
