On the nose this wine offers pretty, layered cassis aromas with tobacco, baking spices, caramel, vanilla and sweet herbs. Deep black cherry and plum are followed by deeper layers of anise and leather. Flavors begin with rich dark berry and black currant notes, highlighted with mocha, clove, and hints of rosemary. This lush, wonderfully balanced Cab has a long finish of blackberry, hazelnut, and cocoa nibs.

  • This inaugural vintage of Sands Point wines was produced in such small quantities that it was not entered into competitions or submitted for review.

Pair with: London Broil, roasted lamb kabobs and hearty pastas. Case Production: 900
