What a lovely blend this is, with its rich fruit and exotic spices on the nose. On the palate, the lush fruit and spiciness are cushioned by easy tannins. Syrah provides a velvety feel, the Zinfandel delivers bright fruit and the Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure.
The final blend for the ’08 was 79% Syrah, 16% Zinfandel and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
