Aged: 12 Years
This wine has maintained its good color while showing slight aged hues of brick red. Aromas of cassis, sweet toasted oak and cedar combine with a hint of lifted cognac, while all is wrapped in the subtle smoky notes of bottle maturation. Flavors of ripe black currant evolve through a long graceful profile, with sweet molasses, dark fruit and a fine tannin frame. The wine continues to show great structure.

92 points, Wine Enthusiast (March 2006): “From a producer that thoroughly understands Napa Bordeaux wines comes this classically proportioned blend…impresses by its balance, elegance and richness…”
90 points, Connoisseurs’ Guide (December 2006): “…fairly complex with scents of vanilla and new leather overlying its very sweet fruit, this one rushes to ripeness once in the mouth, but it does not abandon either its vital fruit or its very rich oak…”
