Aged 12 Years
Classic blackcurrant cassis aromas characteristic of quality Cabernet, with hints of aromatic cedar and just a touch of freshly brewed black coffee on the nose. Cabernet blackcurrant follows through in the flavor, shaped by fresh acidity and soft, palatable but still perceptible tannins. Cleansing acidity and drying tannins mark the long finish.
91 points, Wine Enthusiast (March 2003): “A very fine Cabernet. All of the elements are upfront, including the vivacious berry flavors, oak, and soft, smooth tannins. Dry and clean, this is a wine suited to drinking tonight, but it has the balance to age effortlessly.”
