This is a rich, complex Reserve that is multidimensional and focused. Black fruits, cardamom and a touch of oak carry through to a lingering finish.

97 points, Connoisseurs’ Guide (May 2012): “Storybook Mountain has long set the standard for just how good Napa Valley Zinfandel can be, and this latest Reserve version once again proves that the variety can indeed yield wines of great beauty and admirable sophistication. From its deep and layered aromas of blackberries, dried flowers and sweet oak to its bright and beautifully composed flavors, it is a most complex and compelling take on the grape, and one that comes with the structure to grow for a decade or more. Zinfandel just does not get any better than this.”

Just 442 cases made. Drink now or hold up to 2032. This rich red is the perfect foil for roast beef, pizza, pasta dishes, lentil stew and spinach lasagna.
