This golden Chardonnay offers unique aromas of toasted bread and baking spices, and none of the tropical rhumba of flavors so common to California Chardonnay. The combination of a cool climate site and the Pepe’s selection of the less commonly available chardonnay clone 76 makes this quite different from a typical California chardonnay. Elegant and terrific with roast chicken, crabcakes and many other foods.
