“This old vine Zinfandel shows wonderful dusty raspberry, blackberry, white pepper and spice, with coffee and chocolate characters,” says Trinitas winemaker Kevin Mills. Aging in new and used wood has lent this wine a subtle vanilla quality that nicely complements the explosive fruit notes.

with this wine for years, and this is their best ever.”

This Zinfandel is an excellent choice with barbecued ribs, chili, venison stew and pizza.

My nose and your wines?  Nose make a perfect pair. We loved it!

This represents the Zinfandel grape the way I think it should. Its juicy with blackberry fruit with an inky similarity to a fine Syrah. We served with Oriental spice chicken legs, red potatoes and wild rice. The wine was a great complement. The high alcohol was not hot or over powering at all.  The fruit was fresh with a slight acidity that made the wine food friendly. Smooth finish with Zinfandel tannis make the wine a pleasure to drink.  I have one bottle left but may have to replenish my stock to set some aside to age.

Very fruit forward & flavorful. Spicy Zin but with body and a smooth finish. Not too heavy so can be enjoyed even in the summer.

Could tell this would be amazing from the smell. All the way to the finish was superior. Deep and velvety!
