Tasting Notes: On the nose, chocolate and dark cherry aromas predominate.  On the palate, warm chocolate, anise and spice, along with a rich balance of cassis, dark cherry and vibrant acidity.  Silky smooth texture and, on the finish, there’s a kiss of toasted almond and oak.

My dog is smarted thank I look. I was sitting enjoying this wine with some Thanksgiving left overs when my dog ran to the front door and started barking as it an armed bandit was about to invade the privacy of our home. So I ran to the door and my dog ran to the table. I saw no one. He saw a turkey dinner and knocked over the wine and started lapping. He gave the Cabernet and turkey dinner a 20. I gave him a reprimand.
