Floral aromas of violets, dancing with notes of black plum, blackberry and black cherry, dominate on the nose. Layers of dark cherry and chocolate fill up the mouth with a juicy deliciousness that creates a lush palate.
91 points, Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar: “…Sweet, smoky and intense, with lovely inner-mouth floral character providing lift and perfume. There’s a hint of smoked meat here, but this shows more of the floral side of syrah…Finishes clean and persistent, with plenty of tannic support for development in bottle. A big success for this Cuvée.”
