Bright aromas of dark cherry, toasty oak, and a subtle earthiness typical of Sangiovese are followed by rich flavors of dark cherry with black plum, vanilla, and spicy oak notes. The finish features mild tannins and nice acidity.
Produced in limited quantities, this wine was not entered into competitions or for review.
Given its acidity and moderate tannin, this wine will pair wonderfully with all kinds of food including grilled chicken, lamb, pork, pizza, and pasta.

Couldn't agree more with the first comment. I use CellarTracker to keep track of my wines and when I opened the app to log in this bottle, I was pleasantly surprised to see a rating of 94 posted by someone else; then I opened the bottle and poured. Marvelous fruits on the nose and only mild tannins in the mouth. Given the 14.5% alcohol, I was a little concerned about it be a bit hot. Not to worry, that first sip was nearly perfect. Well worth a rating in the low to mid 90s on the CellarTracker scale and a 19+ (I hesitate to give it a 20 only because I'm always looking for perfection.) Can't wait to see how it holds up tonight.

Almost perfection in a bottle. I am speechless, hence I can scarcely put a complete sentence togther. If Shemar Moore was a wine, this would be him. One of the smoothest, sexiest wines I have ever tasted. Just wonderful. Excuse me while I fan myself to keep myself from fainting in its mere presence. -19 Points
