Club owners Bruce & Pam Boring travel the dusty back roads of California's wine country searching out family-owned wineries dedicated to producing exceptional wine. Uncorked introduces wine of the month members to these exciting wine adventures with an up-close and personal look at the families behind the wine. In addition to enjoying award-winning, limited production wines, our wine of the month members learn about the family's history, get an inside look at how their wine is made and details on what makes their wine special!

Each issue of Uncorked includes a new and delicious recipe from the personal kitchen of our featured winery. Wine of the month members can pair their monthly wine selections with recipes like Ventana Winery's Pan Seared Halibut with Lemon Vin Blanc Sauce, or Napa Valley's Eagle and Rose Estate's Filet Mignon with Roquefort. Members loved San Saba's recipe for Albacore Tuna Steaks with Ginger Soy Butter Sauce as well as Mastantuono's Italian Herb Crusted Rib Roast with Cabernet Sauce. Every month a new gourmet recipe!

What would a wine adventure be without fabulous places to stay and delicious places to dine? Each month wine of the month members receive Bruce & Pam's personal recommendations on the wine country area's best places to visit. Whether it's the "Old California" charm of Monterey's Hotel Pacific or the luxurious feather beds of Napa Valley's Harvest Inn, wine of the month members will read about it in Uncorked! Members will read sample menus from restaurants like the famed French Laundry, meet award-winning chefs like Jude Wilmoth of Yountville's Pere Jeanty restaurant or be introduced to fresh and exciting restaurants like Santa Rosa's MIXX!

The California Wine Club is a monthly wine adventure that is FUN! And each issue of Uncorked includes entertaining and informative articles on wine and the California wine scene. Wine of the month members can test their wine knowledge with our latest Wine Quiz, or finally get the correct pronunciation to the complicated wine names stumbled over on every Wine List! Uncorked is loaded with wine quotes, special toasts and fun facts to use at your next get-together with friends or family.
