Bennett Lane Winery
Bennett Lane’s inauguration in 2003 stems from visits to Italy by founders Randy and Lisa Lynch. Italian wine touring inspired them to make their own wines. They established Bennett Lane Winery, naming it after a nearby country road and today produce Maximus red and white blends, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay.

Bennett Lane Winery 2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
- 94 points, Robert Whitley, wineonline.com
Tasting Notes: Deep crimson in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla and toasty nuts. Its layers of black cherry flavors are kissed by vanilla and fresh, loose tobacco leaves. Tannins are silky. The wine is medium- to full-bodied with a clean, smooth finish. Its deep color and rich flavors belie its age. Let this one open up for about one hour before pouring – well worth the wait.
Winemaker's Notes
The vineyards selected for this Napa Valley Cabernet in St. Helena and Calistoga demonstrate how the valley’s warm climate at its northern end delivers the kind of rich fruit character and elegant weight and balance that have made Napa Cabs so renowned.
