Tasting Notes: Deep and well-ripened, richly oaked in its crème brûlée orientation and yet always focused first on its lovely dark cherry component, this outgoing wine suggests at first that it could serve perfectly well in the near term, but the wine's lively acidity argues for up to a half-decade of patience. Long on the palate and a tad tight as it finishes, this inviting effort promises to grow and grow with time in bottle and reveal a plush, velvety side to those who wait. This is a wine that cries out for the wine world to pay attention.
