Offers a heady nose of blackberry, blueberry, black pepper and hints of earth. Impressively rich, yet balanced and structured, this wine showcases intense dark fruit with a long finish of berries and spice. The final blend was 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache.

89 points, Wine Spectator (Web 2013): “Intense and spicy, with ripe dark berry, underbrush, cedar and crushed rock, maintaining focus and ending with a savory aftertaste.”

I really enjoy this wine with braised lamb or ribs, anything with deep, rich flavors and heavier red sauces.
