Velvety tannins, rich and well balanced, medium dark ruby color with cherry, mint and black currant flavors.
93 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (Dec. 09) “As usual, this deep and dense wine is simply too backward for drinking any time soon, but, also as usual, it has a fine sense of keen Cabernet currants and the palpable potential for very fine things ahead. It balances fruit with a deft touch of oak, and it never gives ripeness anything more than just due. It hints at layering even as it is closed out by tannin, and it needs a rest of some five to ten years.”
91 points, California Grapevine (August-September 2009): “…Best of the trio with the most depth and fruit intensity.”
