On the nose, savor enticing aromas of blackcurrant, boysenberry, fig compote, and hints of apricot, black pepper and vanilla. These are echoed on the palate and joined by flavors of watermelon and strawberry.
Final blend was 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah, 7% Malbec and 3% Cabernet Franc.
A unique red blend from one of California’s top vineyards that you will not find anywhere else, because only 1,300 cases exist – and CWC members have them all.
This red loves a classic pairing of fatty red meat, like steaks or ribs.
This wine was recently feautured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.

Well-balanced, the taste improved upon breathing 20 minutes. A nice blend paired with battes steak. Rated high as a table wine.

Wonderful!!! Very smooth, nice red wine for sipping, can't say that about a lot of reds. I will purchase this for friends and family. Thank you CWC for a great pick.

Very pleasant on the eyes, nose and mouth, a good value, nice find.

Tight nose becomes earthy with aeration. Palate's fruit-forward with assertive berries (I got a lot od blueberry) Medium body with smooth mouth feel and the most engaging powdery tanning in the finish. Very memorable.
