The 2010 vintage begins with aromas of sandalwood, fudge and fruit. The fruit notes dominate the entry, leading to a lush and expansive mid-palate with hints of vanilla, coffee and sage. Coursing acidity adds length and depth, with a pure note of pomegranate extending the finish.

92 Points, "Excellent; Highly Recommended", Wine Enthusiast Advanced Buying Guide (Nov. 13): "...rich in ripe, dark cherry and a touch of herb, offering concentrated and intense flavors, with plenty of acidity..."

92 points, Connoisseurs' Series (June 2013): " ...Rather, for all of its evident size, it possesses an admirable sense of balance to its many parts, and with red cherry, plum jam and dried flower notes all adding to its broad personality..."

90 points, Wine Spectator (Sept. 30, 2013): " Fragrant and delicate, with wilted rose, ripe plum, raspberry, spice and licorice notes, gaining depth and traction."
